Dear Prof. Baskoro,

Claude Cibils from CIMPA was recommending me to contact you as president of SEAMS:

My colleague Ngoc Tran and me are organizing a summer school on combinatorial stochastic processes in Hanoi, Vietnam, in March:http://www.ma.utexas.edu/users/ntran/csp2016/index.html.

We were unfortunately not aware of the special conditions of SEAMS-CIMPA funding, so we applied just to a German organization. However, we have some small travel support for students and postdocs from Vietnam and neighbouring countries. As it is quite hard for us to reach researchers from South East Asia, and you have a large network in this region, we are writing to you today to ask your assistance in spreading the word about our school: Do you have a mailing list of asian mathematicians to which you can send our announcement? Or can you suggest us contact persons who might be able to help us? In case you have an idea whom to forward this email, I posted our school's announcement as plain text below.

Thank you so much for your attention and help.

Kindest Regards,

Carina Geldhauser
